Video Storytelling for Content Marketers – Course date: 26th September 2017
This one day storytelling workshop designed to equip content marketers with the knowledge and tools they need to produce great video stories.
The workshop mixes together social science, behavioral economical and creative storytelling to help delegates understand how stories work, why we like them and how they can be built into our professional communication.
Stephen Follows, Creative Director of Catsnake
Stephen Follows is leading exponent and trainer in the art of using storytelling to achieve measurable outcomes. He has taught professional storytelling to a variety of clients including national institutions (inc The National Trust and BBC), companies (inc Virgin Trains and Wordtracker) and charities (inc Unicef, Age UK).
Stephen has created and led a number of storytelling consultancy projects for The National Trust, which include training hundreds of staff members, creating innovative visitor experiences and managing the stories of an entire castle.
Influencing Masterclass – Course date: TBC
We all need to be able to influence in business today, with our teams, bosses and clients. This workshop is designed to help you build confidence when making a point, feel able to challenge and push back at crucial times and develop techniques to have impact when you need to. This workshop will build on your own style and help you identify strategies for challenging situations.
Sheila specialises in the design and delivery of bespoke development activities aimed at enabling leaders and teams to achieve superior performance.
Having had many years of experience at the boardroom table Sheila has become an expert in the skill of influencing others. In this workshop she shares her expertise and knowledge to enable others to do the same.

Dominic Mills, Consultant Editor, The CMA
Former Campaign editor and editorial director Dominic Mills has been a business journalist for more than 25 years.
Now he writes the weekly ‘Mills on Monday’ column for Mediatel’s Newsline, teaches senior executives how to write better, chairs 20+ conferences a year for organisations including Mediatel, ISBA, the IAB and the IPA and ghost writes for senior executives in the media industry.
Dominic is a consultant editor for the Content Marketing Association and the IPA, he does pitch work for content agencies as well as teaching at Roehampton University where he is Honorary Professor of Journalism. Before all that, he was Group Editorial Director for Haymarket Business Publishing, and worked for Reuters. For ten years he wrote a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph.

This one day programme explores communication styles, building trust and how to use your personal brand to make an impact.
Emma is an experienced L&D and media professional with a background in business, specialising in areas of management development and communication skills. She worked with MediaCom for over a decade and with a range of sectors spanning telecoms and sports sponsorship, before joining our training team.
Emma builds courses that meet the practical and developmental needs of organisations using a common sense, real world approach.
