We describe ourselves as playful experts, so we would like someone who can add to our philosophy. Our motto is that everything we do should be fun or rewarding and preferably both. This means that not only do we produce award-winning work for our clients but everyone involved enjoys doing it. We have a flexible approach to work and most of the team work from home for most of the time. We have an office in Clerkenwell which is there for anyone who wants to use it. We do like to come together as a team periodically however and would love it if you would join us at least on occasion.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced events marketing specialist to join our team. We are a creative content agency that is trusted by some of the biggest and most exciting brands on the planet to invent, produce and distribute their content campaigns.

We envisage the role being approximately two days a week but that the requirement will fluctuate over the course of the events programme and we are happy to tailor a working model that works for you.

Our current event strategy revolves around a series of wine tastings – we aim to deliver one a month virtually and then a live one once a quarter. We have been looking to consolidate this offer and make it consistent but we’re also up for revisiting this approach.

We are looking for someone to run our networking events programme as part of our flexible marketing team. You will be reporting directly to the MD and founder, Tom, and work closely with our digital marketing manager, Jess. We want you for some or all of these things:

More specifically you will be:

Involved in the end-to-end delivery of our events programme
Support (or lead) the events strategy
Identify potential guests for the programme and lead the outreach campaign
Organise the event
Attend on the day and help to present the business in the best light while keeping an eye out for commercial opportunities
Ensure we make the most of an event through follow-up

Generally promoting Contented Brothers wherever and whenever you can which means building your network, introducing us to interesting people, attending events and conferences and sharing the knowledge

Salary is negotiable based on experience but we are currently looking at a range of £35k – £45k (full-time salary equivalent).
