  • 10 steps to building a winning culture

    Host: Bruce Daisley

    Bruce is one of the UK's most influential voices on fixing work, recognised as one of the world's top 10 voices on the future of work by LinkedIn. Bruce is widely published in titles like the Washington Post, Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal and The Guardian. His latest book, Fortitude, was described by the Financial Times as the 'best business book of the year'. 

    He's recently been appointed as a Visiting Honorary Professor at Bayes Business School at City University in London with a focus on organisational culture and the MBA programme.

    Previously he spent over a decade running Twitter and YouTube (the latter at Google) for Europe, leaving Twitter as its most senior leader outside of the US. Bruce runs the Apple number 1 Business Chart topping podcast Eat Sleep Work Repeat on work culture.

    Host: Alan Dykes

    Dialogue Content Marketing – winner of the Content Marketing Association’s coveted Agency of the Year award in 2022 and 2033 – will be convening a panel hosted by Executive Director, Alan Dykes. The panel will include brands and community solution providers in an energised discussion about the importance of brand communities in the diverse marketing mix of 2025, how to engage with them and how to make content that works.

    Alan’s experience in community engagement goes back to his days as a journalist for ZDnet, his experience marketing brands like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Assassin’s Creed and Rocksmith at Ubisoft and his current multi-award nominated experiences with Harley-Davidson’s Harley Owners Group. We’ll also be discussing the importance of external communities – such as Influencer audiences.

  • The secret to the storytelling that keeps viewers glued

    Host: Imogen Naylor-Higgs, BBC

    As content marketers we’re significantly investment in crafting eye-catching content that gets that into our audiences feeds. But what are the secrets to keeping audiences glued to that content? How do you maximise your investment in content to ensure audiences watch the content all the way through, engage with your brand messages and, most importantly, embed these within their memory?

    This session with the BBC StoryWorks Head of Marketing would look at the data behind what keeps viewers glued, utilising a study into the 500+ films produced by BBC StoryWorks to identify what are the common traits that keep audiences watching. We’ll draw on BBBC proprietary studies and dive into a data-led approach to storytelling.
