What is CMA Asia?

Being a member of CMA Asia will provide businesses and individuals in content marketing with valuable opportunities to grow, learn, and network. The CMA already has a large network of content marketers from across the world, spanning a wide range of sectors, from content agencies to freelancers, offering a collaborative platform to share expertise and develop skills.

The CMA supports members through exclusive events, research participation, industry insights, and by promoting outstanding content. All CMA members will also enjoy discounts, access to special deals, and are eligible to become CMA Champions, ambassadors who liaise with the CMA to maximise the value of membership.

The CMA strengthens industry connections and elevates its members by providing platforms to showcase their work and access vital resources to stay ahead of industry trends. Through regular events, newsletters, and awards, it fosters a global community of content marketers.

As a not-for-profit association, it empowers members by enhancing their visibility, offering exclusive opportunities to network with industry leaders and potential clients, and contributing to a thriving content marketing ecosystem.

CMA Asia: Roadmap

As we launch our membership offering, we are committed to working with our community to connect businesses and individuals across the region. Being a not-for-profit association, our phased launch approach reflects the importance of bringing members onboard early to help shape and grow what content marketers from the region need from us as an association.

Our network spans a diverse range of sectors, presenting opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. CMA Asia members will have access to exclusive events, market-specific research, and a support system that enables our members to showcase their expertise. All of this whilst staying ahead of industry trends, and connect with fellow content marketers globally.

It’s also a great time to join CMA Asia as you’ll play an instrumental role in helping us build a thriving content marketing ecosystem. Together, we can create a platform that enhances visibility, elevates industry standards, and drives forward the future of content marketing.

  • Our goal for Phase One is to introduce ourselves to the region by hosting events and engaging with content marketers, while also discovering what they expect from a membership organisation.

    • Host two networking events

    • Publish the CMA Asia newsletter (fortnightly)

    • Launch CMA Asia membership to the region

  • Phase Two
    In Phase Two, we’ll focus on growing the community by hosting regular meetups and introducing webinars for CMA Asia members. These initiatives will help extend the CMA’s reach across the region and promote best practices from our members.

    • Launch a webinar series for content marketers across Asia

    • Plan and launch a 2025 events calendar

  • Phase Three
    With regular events and content sharing established, this phase will focus on deepening our relationship with the community. We’ll invite members to join an online forum to discuss successes and share feedback on how we can improve moving forward.

    • Invite community members to participate in an open forum

    • Launch the CMA Asia website to feature industry news and member insights

    • Encourage members to engage in the International Content Marketing Awards

  • Phase Four
    Having run multiple events across the region, we’ll now focus on creating a sponsorship package to attract a partner that can help expand our offerings. Additionally, we’ll establish a management team to guide CMA Asia’s future direction.

    • Form a management team of six or seven volunteers to help grow CMA Asia

    • Secure a sponsor/partner to support CMA Asia's growth in 2026

    • Organise an annual party for CMA Asia members
