White Light Media produces a one-of-a-kind publication for Maersk Oil UK.

White Light Media recently extended its client portfolio to include Maersk Oil UK, after being commissioned to produce a journal focusing on the big issues affecting its stakeholders in the oil and gas industry.

Maersk Oil UK wanted Shelf to look at industry-wide issues in a thoughtful way with features-led content. The first issue is based around the three themes of Innovation, Collaboration and Expertise. It features experts predicting the future of the oil and gas industry, explores the intricacies and expertise required to deliver billion dollar megaprojects and how the industry can learn valuable safety lessons from the British Cycling Team.

From a design perspective, Shelf features strong illustrations and impactful photography, which help to capture the essence of the industry and the UK North Sea.

The team at White Light Media has already started work on the next edition, which will be published later this year.
