Women in Content 2022

Women in Content

About the event

We’re back for another year with the Women in Content event, the CMA’s biggest attended event ever!

In line with International Women’s Day on 8th March 2022, we’re hosting a series of webinars from female leaders in content marketing. We look to celebrate the achievements and impact of women in our industry and to offer practical advice and tips on how to develop your career and leadership capabilities.

fWe will give four fantastic females a spotlight to provide you with inspiration, motivation, and tips in navigating content and leadership.

As always, we’re welcoming the whole community to join us! The event will see each speaker talk for 20 minutes, followed by a live Q&A where you can submit your own questions.

The Women in Content event is free for everyone to join – we’d love to see you there!

Women in Content Speakers:

Clare Jonik, Feel Good Marketing

Being your own boss doesn’t mean you have to own your own company.

“From micro-moments and inadvertent PR to the little things that create big change, being your own boss doesn’t mean you have to own your own company”

I’m finally my own boss with my own agency but throughout this journey, which is only just beginning, i’ve kept 3 things close to me that have kept my inner compass honest and intact. Where did this lead me? Last year I founded Feel Good Marketing Co. a marketing consultancy with specialisms that bridge marketing strategy with business growth. We’re now 6 months old and working with a roster of exciting, ambitious clients from Liverpool FC and YuLife to mental health awareness brand Born Human and Interior design guru Lola Swift. My inner compass has been my north star but it’s not been without challenges.

Sharon Flaherty, BrandContent

Less tokenism, more action: Why brands need to ‘get real’.

Sharon runs BrandContent a creative communications agency in Cardiff and is proud to have been awarded the best small agency at the CMA awards for 4 years running.

Passionate about the real issues affecting society, including diversity, inclusion and representation, the agency is focused on helping large organisations drive meaningful change and creating a real human impact not just a number in a Google Dashboard.

Sharon will talk about how tapping into authentic storytelling and real perspectives can really make you have a lasting and positive impact in the world.
