The 2022 International Content Marketing Awards: Another unforgettable evening showcasing the best in content marketing

The International Content Marketing Awards was another successful evening showcasing the best in content marketing from across the world.

On Thursday 1st December, the content marketing industry came together to celebrate their greatest work from the past 12 months. This year’s awards has once again broken participation and viewership records as the world’s best agencies and brands came out in force to celebrate the biggest night in the content marketing calendar

The prestigious event, hosted by the Content Marketing Association (CMA), continues to grow, with a record-breaking number of entries from over 30 countries, and with viewers tuning in to watch the ceremony from across the world.

The International Content Marketing Awards has one of the most stringent judging processes with 138 industry experts participating in two rounds of judging to award gold, silver and bronze awards across 32 categories. Additionally, there were also Grand Prix categories awarding the best small, medium and large content marketing agencies across the world.

The 2022 awards saw first-time Grand Prix winners for agencies Medium Rare and Dialogue Content Marketing, winning Best Large Agency and Best Medium Agency respectively. Folk (formerly BrandContent) won the Best Small Agency category in the Grand Prix for a staggering fourth straight year.

This year recorded a record number of entries, judges and first-time winners, making the 2022 annual ceremony the most competitive, captivating and compelling year to date.

Managing Director of the CMA, Rob John was delighted with the success of this year’s award ceremony. “Once again the awards continue to go from strength to strength proving that the content marketing industry continues on its trajectory. We were amazed at the sheer quality of the entries we received this year. Bands and organisations clearly understand the importance of content marketing and are allocating more budget and resources to it.

“For over 12 years, the CMA has hosted the awards and each year we see a greater number of entries from around the world, including Continental Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We couldn’t be prouder of the International Content Awards, from the 130-plus experts who support us with the rigorous judging process to the global talent and entries it attracts. Our overall aim is to support and champion the global content marketing industry and we hope our members continue to trust us to do that.”
