Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator Intern to support our marketing team. The individual will play an important role in the execution of the iResearch Service’s social media strategy. The role will be working with multiple stakeholders within the company and will include content creation, editing, planning, and scheduling across multiple platforms. The individual will be at the forefront of upcoming social media trends and ideas with a forward-thinking approach.

Responsibilities:

  • You will have shared responsibility for daily scheduling and posting of the iResearch Services social media channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook,
  • Instagram, and YouTube under the direction of the Senior Content Executive and Marketing and Events Coordinator.
  • You may attend photoshoots, events, and live activations to support content creation, and live posting/streaming.
  • You will ensure the smooth running of weekly schedules including captions, links, tags, and creativity across all planned and reactive posts.
  • You will create ideas and storyboards for planning ‘story’ content on Instagram and Facebook.
  • You will work with the wider team including our Graphics team, and Editorial to create and execute exciting content.
  • You will conduct weekly research using tools such as SEMrush and Meltwater to monitor social media networks to raise social trends, platform changes, and new formats.
  • You will do daily community management across all key channels, collaborating with the wider Marketing team and other core functions for escalating comments.

Requirements:

  • A Self-starter who is able to work autonomously and as part of a busy team.
  • Competent in Microsoft office and outlook (word, PowerPoint, excel – is a must).
  • Strong copywriting skills i.e., competent in writing, grammar and editing skills in English.
  • First-class organisational and administrative skills, multi-tasking – the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail in copy and creative.
  • Happy in a quickfire work environment where internal/external requests can demand a flexible approach to daily routine.
  • Can work to multiple deadlines and in a pressured environment.
  • Marketing Knowledge/proven work experience project coordinator (or similar role).
  • Experience using social media for business.
  • Skilled in Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Hootsuite (and social listening tools).
  • Has working in Mailchimp and/or similar is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
