Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to expand the company marketing efforts by taking responsibility for the implementation of coordinated marketing activities and projects within a growing marketing team. To be suitable for this role you will need extensive marketing B2B experience and have excellent messaging creation and copywriting skills with strong knowledge and application of digital marketing techniques including social media and websites. The ideal candidate will be a confident and self-motivated marketing professional with a flair for writing compelling content. With experience working to multiple deadlines, you will have excellent organisational and project management skills. You will be proactive in researching and developing content ideas and keeping abreast of market trends and industry news. As a confident communicator you will be comfortable presenting ideas and campaign plans to the Marketing Team and other internal stakeholders. The candidate will work to promote iResearch Services through a variety of methods including content creation, digital and social media, events management, campaigns and internal communications, to increase brand awareness, web traffic, developing new creative campaign initiatives that engage and build target audiences and lead generation. You will be highly skilled at planning and running campaigns and delivering results, insights and leads. The right person for this position will be results-driven, pro-active and will collaborate with others while sharing best practice and their expertise with the wider team. Support the development of the annual Marketing plan and ensure implementation of marketing activities across the business, resulting in actionable leads

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content and campaigns across all marketing channels including website, social media and email marketing, and will complete other marketing projects, tasks and activities to excellent standards, as directed by the AVP Marketing
  • Writing content for use across various platforms and formats (e.g. long-form marketing content, web copy, social content etc.) to produce a wide variety of content for multi-channel campaigns and different audiences, including case studies, award entries, newsletter stories, scripts for videos, testimonials, web copy, press releases, blog posts, thought leadership pieces, marketing emails, brochures, videos, and presentations
  • Managing creative assets through the studio, ensuring content is delivered on brief and to a high standard
  • Participating in the development of creative ideas and proposals for existing and new clients
  • Working closely with our external PR agency, manage our PR and editorial calendars to ensure timely newsletters, mailers, podcasts are sent out (digital communications) alongside our Editor
  • Manage SEO, SEM activities of the website, conducting keyword and SEO research to understand customers’ needs alongside our Digital Marketing Specialist
  • Monitor analytics from Google Analytics, LinkedIn analytics, SEM rush and other digital marketing tools to improve campaign performance
  • Schedule social media posts and manage our social media accounts producing reports and analytics
  • Event Management through internal and external events
  • Identify gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Identify areas of improvement on website (UI/UX) i.e. capturing prospects
  • Proofread and edit written pieces before publication

Requirements

  • Strong copywriting skills i.e. competent in writing, grammar and editing skills in English
  • Effective content developer, able to conduct research and subject-matter expert interviews confidently, and deliver high-quality first drafts.
  • Experience developing and delivering a wide range of integrated marketing assets, ideally in B2B Marketing
  • Strong time management skills, happy in a quickfire work environment where internal/external requests can demand a flexible approach to daily routine
  • Keyword research: can keep up with trends, constantly research and test keyword choices.
  • A portfolio of published articles and digital communications (mailers, newsletters, campaigns, targeting advertising)
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing
