Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, The International Content Marketing Awards will run as a virtual event. Over the last ten years, the CMA has held award ceremonies at iconic venues across London.

The awards already attract the very best in international content marketing with entries from more than 20 countries. The shift online will make it even more accessible, allowing agencies and brands around the world to share their best work.

The 2020 ceremony will be streamed live, with winners having their trophies delivered to them shortly after. The online awards show promises to be full of surprises. “We’re developing a ceremony that will bring much of the glam and dazzle of the live show to a screen near you,” says Membership Director Rob John. “We have an experienced awards production team onside to ensure the whole community can enjoy it.”

Over the last ten years, the International Content Marketing Awards has rewarded the great work of our industry, and brought together content marketers from around the world. This year will be no different, as it celebrates and rewards outstanding work created both by those within the CMA community, and across the wider industry.

The 2020 awards will of course retain its rigorous and high standard of judging. Rob says: “The CMA already has measures in place that mean all entries can be judged online, and any printed materials can be sent to judges, as is normally the case.”

Chairman of the CMA, Vince Medeiros, adds: “This is no doubt a challenging time for all. But as with most challenges, there is also opportunity. With the event being held online, we’re able to expand the CMA’s reach and have a fun evening with content producers, creatives, and journalists from around the world.”

Finally, the award entry price has been reduced, with members paying £165 per entry, and the non-member price set at £265. The Award Ceremony stream will be a free-to-join interactive experience so that creatives from anywhere can join on the night, raising a glass to the fine work submitted by our industry.
