About the event

In line with International Women’s Day on 8th March 2021, we’re hosting a morning session with female leaders in content marketing to celebrate the achievements and impact of women in our industry!

We will give five fantastic females a spotlight to provide you with inspiration, motivation, and tips in navigating content and leadership.

As always, we’re welcoming the whole community to join us! The event will see each speaker talk for 20 minutes, followed by a short Q&A where you can put discuss the presentation or put your question to the panel.

The Women in Content event is free for everyone to join – we’d love to see you there!

Carrie Rose, Navigating My Way to the Top
Rise at Seven

Carrie is the CEO and Co-Founder of Rise at Seven, a search-first creative agency in London, Sheffield and the US. They are currently just 17 months old, but won Best Large Global Content Marketing Agency of the year recently at the Global Content Awards after delivering award winning creative campaigns and content for their clients. They specialise in delivering search first creative executions for global brands or those that want to be.

Helena Lang, What My Best Female Bosses Taught Me

Helena Lang is Head of Content, Food and Lifestyle at SevenC3. Helena oversees the multi-award winning Sainsbury’s magazine brand including the print title, Sainsburysmagazine.co.uk and social channels, digital and social content for WW (formerly Weightwatchers) and other clients.

With a background in journalism and editorial, Helena is a strong believer in putting the audience first and establishing their needs and wants before delivering content that tells a story that the consumer wants to hear.

Sara Nourizadeh, Finding Your Great Ideas and Fighting For Them
Bloomberg Media

Sara is an Exec Producer for the EMEA team at Bloomberg Media Studios. Sara works on international content partnerships running across Bloomberg’s multimedia portfolio, including Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg.com and Bloomberg Green. Prior to this, Sara developed and produced critically acclaimed documentary series including London’s Great Bridges: Lighting the Thames (CH4), A Year at English National Ballet (BBC), Diary of a Children’s Ward (ITV) and On The Frontline in Afghanistan (SKY).

Nicola Bray, The Future of Content Marketing. Post Covid. Post Cookies
Maze Media

Nicola is an experienced marketing consultant, with a special interest in psychology and human behaviour. After graduating in Psychology, Nicola joined the world of PR working across some well known National brands, then headed up a marketing team at a National Insurance Company before founding Maze Media in 2009. She now co-owns six agencies within The Maze Group.

Maze is Marketing agency who focus is on clever creative campaigns. The agency, pre covid times, held regular events across the country focusing on all areas of Marketing from content, strategy, planning, social media and outreach. Also within the Maze Group are Fluential, a Influencer Agency, who work with influencers and brands to deliver bespoke campaigns, WXVE, who are a film/TV studio, TLNT, who focus on Influencer management and Optimyzd, who specialise in all things paid advertising. Nicola has recently been awarded Business Person of the Year at the Norfolk Mayor’s Awards for her work with Maze and her support and development of women in business.

Katie Fincham, The Power of Connections and Embracing Change – plus 8 other things I’ve learnt in a decade in content marketing

Katie Fincham is Earned Communications Director for international digital agency Stickyeyes. Whilst managing a team of over 40 content specialists she’s also responsible for the content output for numerous multi-lingual, global brands including Adobe, Etihad, Hertz and Groupon.

Always eager to stay one step ahead whilst delivering consistent long-term success, Katie drove the introduction of the agency’s influencer marketing offering, before influencer engagement was even a thing and is part of senior management team leading Stickyeyes to Performance Agency of the Year 2020 and Best Large Integrated Search Agency the year before. Katie is passionate about supporting women, parents and mental wellbeing throughout the agency through their #sticktogether networks.
