The International Content Marketing Awards are the biggest night in the content marketing calendar.

Agencies and brands from across the world offer up their greatest work from the past 12 months for judgement by some of the biggest names to be crowned the best in content marketing. The International Content Marketing Awards is open to all, whether you’re an agency or work on the client-side, and whether you specialise in content or not.

Once all entries have been submitted there will be two rounds of judging from esteemed members of our community that will select the gold, silver and bronze winners.

What winning a CMA award meant for content agency, Future Fusion

“We were thrilled to even be nominated for several CMA awards and were over the moon when we won. The awards are a testament to our team and clients and make all the hard work worth it. To receive industry recognition is a humbling experience but even in the losses, we learn something about how we can improve for our clients.”

Submit your entries by Friday, 24th September

“It’s pretty thrilling to realise you’re not just up against your peers in this market, but from across the globe – so to win is a huge honour and an incredible proof of work. Add in the benefit that there’s an undeniable system of fairness & integrity in the judging process and it’s a great thing to be part of.”

Awards FAQs

Do I need to be a member to enter?
No, anyone can enter and we welcome all to the International Content Marketing Awards, including brands and organisations from any sector. CMA members however do benefit from an entry discount.

Find out more about the great benefits of becoming a CMA member and make the most of the reduced entry price.

Can I enter more than one category?

Yes, you can enter as many categories as you wish with as many projects into one category as you would like. We advise you to look at each award, as the judging criteria are slightly different for each.

The layout of the categories also works so that you can enter the same campaign in to various different awards – for example you could submit a video campaign of multiple films in to the ‘Best Video – Series’ category, and select just one of those in the series to go in to ‘Best Video – Individual’ category.

What are the entry requirements?

All work discussed in your submission must have been carried out between June 2020 and September 2021. Other entry criteria are laid out below for each category.

Will my entries be treated with confidence?

Absolutely. Each of our judges will sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and all information will be treated with the strictest confidence. Award entries will only be viewed by CMA staff and our judging panel.

Can I submit hard copies of my work?

Due to the pandemic we are asking entrants to only send printed copies of work if you feel it is absolutely necessary. All work otherwise can be viewed by our judges online. Details about sending physical copies are given on the awards platform.

How much does it cost to enter?

Members: £265 / Non-members: £365

You can pay in advance or on submission. There are a few ways you can pay, which we have detailed in our awards pack.

How are the awards judged?

Once all entries have been submitted, there will be two rounds of judging from esteemed members of our community. The first round will place the best entries into a shortlist, and the second round judges will select the gold, silver and bronze winners from this list. The basis to score the entries are laid out under each category below. The weighting of these criteria varies per category, and judges will be given an in-depth guide of what to look for for each criteria. All entries will be shared anonymously with judges and their decision is final.

When can I submit my entries?

Entries are open now, but you don’t have to submit until the deadline. You will be able to log on to the awards platform and save your progress.
