1473 media launch

A new strategic marketing consultancy and specialist content-creation agency has been launched today.

1473 Media, based in London, aims to help innovative and high-growth businesses to better tell their stories, develop their owned media channels and improve market share.

The official launch of 1473 Media marks the beginning of an exciting new journey for founders Sam Gallagher and Stuart Charlton, who have been working on setting-up the new business since the end of 2022.

Having worked together as Managing Directors of award-winning content and digital agency, Progressive Content, their vision is to fuse the experience of larger agencies with the principles and energy of a smaller business.

With extensive experience across b2b media, particularly across the financial services and professional services industries, the new agency has already established an impressive roster of clients.

What’s in the name? 1473 holds particular historical significance, as it marks the year William Caxton produced the first-ever printed book in English. While the world has changed beyond recognition since then, the timeless principles of storytelling and effective communication still endure and guide the 1473 Media ethos.

As a strategic marketing and specialist content-creation agency, 1473 Media believe that great media should deliver meaningful impact, whether through increased sales, enhanced awareness, or transformed perceptions. By truly understanding a client’s target audience and desired outcomes, the 1473 Media team devise strategies, unlock ideas, and facilitate impactful results.

“Launching 1473 Media has been a dream come true for us. We have a shared vision to make a difference, by doing things differently. We are driven by our desire to create inspiring and impactful media for our clients and to build long-lasting partnerships as trusted advisers” said Sam Gallagher & Stuart Charlton, 1473 Media Founders.
