Waitrose & Partners Food app tops 1 million downloads
CMA member John Brown announces the app version of Waitrose & Partners Food magazine has now exceeded 1 million downloads.
A haven for home cooks and lovers of great food, the monthly smartphone and tablet app includes the same fantastic recipes and features that appear in the printed edition, plus bonus content, a handy recipe-saving function and a worktop-friendly ‘cook mode’. It also gives Waitrose & Partners customers a first look at each new issue, as the app is available to download several days before the magazine arrives in store. The 1 million downloads milestone is a testament to Waitrose & Partners Food’s distinguished content, which includes innovative recipes and entertaining articles from the world’s best chefs and food writers. In addition, a sizeable 44 per cent of downloads each month are for back issues, proving that the app has become a valuable resource for home cooks looking for culinary inspiration long after the magazine’s shelf life has expired.
In November’s edition, some of our favourite chefs share their culinary heritage at a special bring-a-dish feast, and we head to The Ritz to meet its big cheese John Williams. And talking of cheese… Don’t miss our feature with dairy queen Stacey Hedges, founder of the Hampshire Cheeses creamery. Take a tour of fabulously festive treats, from sherry in Bristol to lebkuchen in Germany, and get ready to go big, because canapés are getting a supersize makeover!
The Waitrose & Partners Food app, published by John Brown on behalf of Waitrose & Partners, is free to myWaitrose members from the Apple Store or Google Play.
