Speakers for this breakfast will be discussing how to use short video formats to attract, engage and drive loyalty. The role of video in social media content strategy and optimising short video to make ‘thumb-stoppable’ content.

Complimentary breakfast, consisting of delicious bacon sandwiches, pastries, fruit pots and smoothies is served from 8:30 am. Presentations start at 9:00 am allowing time for some networking over breakfast.

Jani Guest, Managing Director, Independent Films

Award-winning Independent Films formed Indy8 in 2013, as a division of the company solely focused on producing online branded content.  Jani Guest, Managing Director of Independent/Indy8 will be sharing the company’s experience on the evolution of producing short form content as a reflection of shifting trends in brand needs over the last few years.

Jani will share some case studies, including its BAFTA-winning Bombay Sapphire Series of shorts, that highlight the power of simple ideas, the advantages and effectiveness of creative trust and freedom, and the benefits of a streamlined production process.


Ben Uttley, Managing Director, Stamp Productions

Ben is a filmmaker and storyteller. He founded Stamp Productions in 2008, a film production company that creates branded content and documentaries with a speciality in the sports industry.

Ben founded Stamp to bring great storytelling and technical skill together in order to connect audiences emotionally and authentically with a narrative. Acting credits include The Four Feathers, Captain America, The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, Skins and TV comedy My Family.

At Stamp, Ben produces, writes and directs inspiring content with a team of experts for global brands, agencies and rights holders including Honda, Land Rover, and The British & Irish Lions. The company’s short form content reaches tens of millions of people around the world each year.

Stamp is the official film supplier for all branded content to The British & Irish Lions which includes the upcoming feature-length documentary of the Lions tour to New Zealand 2017


Joivan Wade, Dee Kaate, Percelle Ascott, Founders, Wall of Comedy

Launched just two years ago, The Wall of Comedy produces original content for digital and TV platforms. They license content and distribute across TWOC’s social media channels to their audience over four million, generating over 300 million views per month on content, resulting in over 3.6 billion views annually. The company also work with brands to produce content campaigns that helps get across their key messages to their target demographic and will publish and promote the content via their affiliate network of influencers.

They will be discussing how they’re using short-form video to create engaging content on social media for brands and millennials.


Jose de Cabo, Co-founder, Olapic

Based in Olapic’s European headquarters in London, Cabo is spearheading the company’s global expansion. Drawing on his extensive global consulting background, Cabo and his team successfully introduced Olapic’s earned content technology to the European market and have secured client partners including AllSaints, Karen Millen, L’Óreal, Pepe Jeans, and Tag Heuer. Born in Madrid, Cabo holds undergraduate degrees from Dublin City University and ICADE University and an MBA from the Columbia School of Business in New York City, where he and his co-founders received recognition and capital from the Eugene M. Lang Entrepreneurial Initiative Fund. He previously worked as a management consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, leading technology innovation, marketing and sales projects for large, multi-national corporations. Cabo has been featured extensively in the press and is a seasoned speaker at trade conferences.
