Progressive’s Foodservice Consultant scoops award at Folio Awards
Foodservice Consultant, published by Progressive Customer Publishing for their client FCSI, won an ‘Eddie’ award in recognition of achieving editorial excellence at the 2014 Folio Awards, held at the Yale Club in New York City in December 2014. The award was given to Foodservice Consultant in the Association/Non-Profit (B2B) category.
Folio’s ‘Eddie and Ozzies’ awards ceremony is the largest awards competition in magazine publishing. The 2014 awards garnered more than 2,800 entries and bestowed more than 140 awards. The awards honour both editorial and design teams, with the Eddies recognising the highest standards achieved in editorial and the Ozzies rewarding excellence in magazine design.
The 2014 winners list was comprised of the biggest and most influential titles across the entire publishing spectrum. They are also the only competition open to all magazines: consumer, B2B, custom and association publications.
Other winning magazines at the awards ceremony included Bloomberg’s Real Estate Brief, PwC’s Strategy+Business, National Geographic Traveler, CFO magazine, Harvard Business Review, Time Inc’s Food & Wine, Conde Nast’s Architectural Digest and O, The Oprah magazine.
Foodservice Consultant also won two silvers at The Content Council’s Pearl Awards for Best Overall Editorial (B2B) and Best New Launch or Re-launch in New York City in November 2014. The magazine was also shortlisted for two awards, Editor of the Year and Art Director of the Year, at the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME’s) Awards in London on 17 November 2014 in London.
