John Brown and TSB at the Pride of Britain Awards
For the second year running, as part of their relationship with bank TSB, the John Brown team were set up in a production hub at the Pride of Britain Awards: a newsroom-style setting where our creatives captured content on winners, celebrities, including their emotional reactions and outtakes.
John Brown worked with TSB to capture content on the red carpet and media room, which was turned around and published live on the night by fellow DAN agency 360i.
The deliverables from client TSB included videos for social channels including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as written articles for the TSB Local Pride website.
The Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards in partnership with TSB celebrate and honour local people who have done extraordinary things for their community and the country as a whole – such as raising thousands of pounds for charity.
The John Brown team also worked on videos, social posts and articles in the run up to the awards being broadcast on Tuesday 7 November, and will continue to tell winners’ stories throughout the upcoming months.
The event itself took place on Monday 30 October at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, and was attended by Prince William, Sir Rod Stewart, Liam Payne, Ed Sheeran, Jamie Oliver, Holly Willoughby, Carol Vorderman, Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Lenny Henry and Paul Hollywood.
Later in the month, Pride of Sport, also in partnership with TSB, takes place in London and the team are gearing up to cover that event as well.
Pride of Britain, in partnership with our client TSB, was screened on ITV on Tuesday 7 November.
