Progressive Content is a full service content marketing agency that specialises in B2B content. We produce a range of print and digital publications as well as manage blogs and websites on behalf of our clients. These clients come from a wide range of industries, including banking, professional services, membership organisations and technology.

The role

Working across a range of activities for a new client in the professional services sector, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery and client management efforts. We’re looking for a passionate, curious and hard-working account manager who is comfortable articulating campaign and content strategy with senior client stakeholders. Experience of working in B2B, across a range of media and channels would be beneficial.

Key duties

  • Line manage allocated account executives/assistants on a day-to-day basis
  • Be the principle day-to-day contact with the client, ensuring effective communication between Progressive and client teams
  • Oversee project co-ordination, management and reporting to the client and your line manager
  • Facilitate strategic planning and ideas generation based on client business objectives and target audiences
  • Establish and manage new processes to co-ordinate the work of team members and deliver high-quality client work on time and budget
  • Support the development and sale of new business proposals with existing clients, including producing budgets and business plans
  • Understanding and enforcing client content and brand guidelines

Skills required

  • Excellent knowledge of content marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of digital systems
  • Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service
  • Experience of creating and delivering compelling presentations
  • Proactive attitude to solving client and internal challenges
  • Excellent organisation skills, including the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Creative and innovative approach
  • Strong leader with the ability to build and motivate effective teams
  • Good (and developing) management abilities
  • Proficient in written/verbal communication
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • IT literate
