Role: Mid-level Content Marketing Executive
Company: The Job Vault (Recruiter)
Location: Bath
Job description:

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company who publish to a global audience. This is a new role and represents a chance for a mid-level content marketing professional to join a company at a time that you can really take a step up in your career as they grow. They are looking for someone who has really solid content creation experience and that this makes up a major part of your current or recent role/s.

You will join a small commercial team and you’ll be at the heart of their marketing activities in support of premium B2B subscription information services and a thriving global events programme.

Key responsibilities:

1) You will provide a consistent supply of high quality content; articles, webinars, reports, videos, presentations, interviews, Q&As, infographics, and more.

This content will form an integral part of their value-driven marketing communications, spanning multiple channels including web, email, social, print, conferences and external partnerships – generating new leads and driving deeper engagement with their community.

2) The successful candidate will also be required to manage a number of cross-channel marketing campaigns. You will work closely with a small team; a full-time marketing assistant, graphic designer, data specialist and freelance copywriter, in successfully delivering these campaigns.

3) You will also take responsibility for a number of discrete projects emerging from their annual marketing and product-team plans, helping the business to meet its strategic objectives.

While working as part of a small team, you will possess a practical, hands-on understanding of digital marketing and associated systems/processes, including email marketing systems (EMS), content management systems (CMS) and search engine optimisation/marketing (SEO/SEM).

The successful applicant will have a creative flair, a good eye for detail, and excellent copy-writing skills. You will feel perfectly at home communicating with an expert, professional community, and also forging external partnerships.

You will also be a strong team player, self-motivated, flexible and happy to embrace change within a developing online business.

You will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a similar content marketing focused role, preferably supported by a marketing degree or diploma.

Please note: They are not looking for a marketing generalist for this role – it’s essential that you have strong content marketing experience to be considered. Great company, great role – salary £25-27k to start! If you’re looking for a little negotiation on this salary please send your CV anyway. Apply for further details!
