The Brief

To create an original multi-platform series for Huck that documents people who have had to reinvent themselves in the face of adversity.

The Challenge

To explore creativity in a completely new way that would showcase Huck’s ability to identify and tell stories that no one else is telling.

Our Approach

Prions Da Vinci was built around the insight that in prison, where people are denied freedom and possessions, inmates become very creative out of necessity. That creativity can become a powerful tool for invention and their own self-reinvention.

The Results

The first episode was a Vimeo Staff Pick, earning more than 100K views on YouTube and many more across other platforms. Audience retention was much higher than YouTube averages with a video completion rate near 70%. The series is expanding for 2016.
