From the Street Up

The Brief

To raise awareness around the Nike SB Euro Series in a stylish way that would feel authentic to both the discerning core skateboarding community and beyond.

The Challenge

To tell the story of skate competitions in a new way, bringing in the style, the setting and the community around it.

Our Approach

We created “From the Street Up”, a series of three videos spanning Barcelona, London, Berlin and Copenhagen that instead of focusing on tricks were travel-style videos focusing on the sensory experience and personal narrative of pro skater Casper Brooker as he explored each city.

The Results

The focus on personal story over competition in “From the Street Up” was acclaimed and shared by skate sites like Grey, Sidewalk, Desillusion, The Daily Street, Slam City Skates and others. It has been viewed more than 100K times, and continues to be screened by Nike SB stockists in stores internationally.
